lyrics
Look at us ... We're shadows.
We're hidden beyond this thick dusty ashen air!
The lamb within ourselves has been sacrificed to the celestial Beast!
Dismembered by the spiritual blade of the holy carnality;
We've been released to listen to our mind , here we are!
We're our own gods !
We're our own gods !
Sniff the smell of hate chocked within spasmodic sneers
Brush against the fiery ashes of burnt fake dogmas!
Look at our vitreous eyes and get lost into the infinite emptiness...
We're the black stain beyond the white lie peak!
We're the wolves hissing the thruth to filthy deceiving sheeps!
We're the abomination towards spiritual slavery!
We have got the Elohim's mark and you wont't delete it!
We have got the Elohim's mark and you wont't delete it!
The lamb within ourselves has been sacrified to the celestial Beast,
Dismembered by the spiritual blade of the holy carnality;
We've been released to listen to our mind , here we are!
We're our own gods , gratefully weeping tar.

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
